Beth Orehosky (or a hos key) was a teacher before getting into whitewater for art and she had always been interested in the outdoors, rockclimbing was her first love and then when she turned 27, she went through a bad breakup and was determined to try something new and different and she bought a play boat and she went to the pool roll practice sessions and found a mentor who taught her the starts of  her paddling. He’s traveled the country for paddling at 29 and she met so many people all across the country building a network of friends and falling deeper in love. She quit her teaching job, sold her house, bought a camper, did another road trip, moved to california, became a raft guide and got a job managing at sierra south and eventually started her business, xtreme bookings.
