Abby and Kellee introduce their first guest of the podcast! Norina Asante who is a first-generation Ghanaian-American. Norina gives the listener(s) her lived experience around being a therapist of color in the mental health field, particularly during 2020, and also shares some more personal stories around being a woman of color. Norina describes for the listener(s) what support has been most healing for her, and what she believes therapist can offer to their clients to create healing; deep listening and presence.
