In the 1960s, Vampires were all the rage, with numerous movies and TV shows exploring the horror genre. This obsession had seeped into the public consciousness, making the news of a disturbing act of vandalism at Tottenham Park Cemetery in 1968 even more unsettling. The London Evening Standard reported the incident, and many Londoners immediately jumped to the conclusion that it must be linked to black magic and the undead.
