On today's episode, we share tales of the Autumn Equinox, Mabon, the Harvest Moon and some creepy associated European folklore. We have an introduction piece, followed by two, true scary stories!

Across different cultures around the world, the autumn equinox is marked with various customs, beliefs and festivals to symbolize the transition from the warmth of summer to the cool embrace of autumn.

Mabon is one such festival, that celebrates the second harvest and the transition of the Earth into the season of autumn. It takes place around September 21st or 22nd in the Northern Hemisphere, and around March 21st or 22nd in the Southern Hemisphere. This festival has its roots in ancient Celtic and Pagan traditions, and it is often associated with a variety of folklore and mythical tales.
