Mitchell recently joined the West End production of
Dear Evan Hansen at the Noel Coward Theatre as an understudy for the roles of Evan and Jared. Prior to the pandemic he was understudying Goldie Wilson in the world premiere of
Back To The Future at the Manchester Opera House.
Mitchell worked extensively as a child, with his credits include: the original West End cast of
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (London Palladium), Young Simba in
The Lion King (West End),
Caroline Or Change (National Theatre),
Porgy and Bess (West End),
Oliver (Theatre Royal Drury Lane) and he played Young Michael Jackson in
Thriller Live on tour across the UK, Europe and in the West End.
He kept going and never stopped working, with his further credits including
Our Lady of Kibeho (Theatre Royal Stratford East), Stevie Wonder & understudy Berry Gordy in
Motown The Musical (West End), Little Moe in
Five Guys Named Moe (Edinburgh Fringe) and Curly in
Peter Pan (West End).
