Beatitudes Good to be Vulnerable By Phil Stokes 19 - 02 - 2017

Phil spoke on the first of the beatitudes, the poor in spirit. The Message translation says 'You are blessed when we are at the end of your rope, with less of you there is more of God and His rule.' This is the journey of discipleship. We are called to a kingdom of dependence upon God, where we have been weaned off the idols that we use to feel full. Then Gods kingdom can come.
