Peggy Determeyer, Ph.D., is the Director of CARES (Caregiving, Aging, Resilience, Ethics, And Spirituality) at the Hope and Healing Center and Institute. Founded in 2011, HHCI is an expression of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church’s vision to minister to those broken by life’s circumstances and a direct response to the compassionate Great Commission of Jesus. An independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization housed on the St. Martin’s campus, HHCI is a comprehensive mental health resource serving the Greater Houston community and beyond.
