She ran her first 100km distance when she was 15 (badass and a rule breaker)


She uses her (Instagram) platform to share her sport and to inspire as many people as possible to challenge themselves and get outdoors


She is an advocate for the environment and loves mountains


Lucy and I first connected on Instagram after she made a post about periods and running


In the first episode of the series Lucy talks about her training practice, what a week of training looks like and how she recovers


She shares her why for training and what she has learnt about herself and her body through her sport


We talk about her cycle and how periods aren't spoken about in the endurance community


Lucy is a warrior woman, and I really enjoyed this conversation with her
