Dan’s passion for fly fishing began in Colorado and followed him back to the Midwest where he was able to find a balance between fly fishing for smallmouth and trips back to the Rocky Mountains. We discuss the differences and similarities between fly fishing for smallies and trout, his home waters of Sugar Creek in Indiana, and why starting his footwear company Catchflo seeks to keep fly fishing fun off the water through its unique, fishy designs.
