Victor Brooks shares an intimate conversation with the legendary Actor/Songwriter/Singer Clifton Davis.  Clifton explains the ups and downs of his illustrious 50 plus years in the entertainment industry.  We hear his life before acting, growing up in Long Island, NY moving to New York City where his entertainment career begun on Broadway. Clifton describes moving to LA to begin his television and movie career, and his induction into the Motown family as a songwriter for The Jackson 5, Diana Ross and so many others.  For more than 50 years Clifton Davis has shared his unique gifts with audiences around the world. Currently, Mr. Davis is in his fifth season recurring on the CBS hit drama, “Madam Secretary” as Ephraim Ware, DNI and recurring in "Godfather of Harlem" as Elijah Muhammad. He has also just completed a 4-year run on Broadway as the Sultan in Disney’s hit musical, "Aladdin”.  Prior to Aladdin, Davis performed 16-months in the National Broadway Tour of “Wicked” portraying Dr. Dillamond. Davis is probably best known for his 5-year run as Reverend Reuben Gregory on the popular NBC television series, "Amen."
