The Upswing Coffee Index: Jeff Sherman paid about 2.91 for a coffee at Stone Creek, producer Jaslyn paid about 5.41 at Discourse Coffee for 12oz drip coffee. Rich paid somewhere in the middle at Collectivo.
RESTAURANTS GALORE: Jeff and Rich circle back to the North Market closure and what could come to the vacant space, at least it’s ready for a restaurant. Speaking of opening a new restaurant, the Biggby Coffee at Red Arrow Park could be opening around Thanksgiving. Rich says it feels like Dunkin Donuts which many of those are opening around Milwaukee. Seafood Shack is also opening on the north side. Sweet Treasures is also opening in Muskego.
More soda from Sprecher: They’ve been available in bottles but now they are in cans which Rich helps them expand their reach, not to mention a lot of their drink acquisitions. Duesterbeck’s brewery has also had some expansions.
