Transition NOT Succession: a Better Way to Say it, See it, and Feel it

A recent conversation with a Client inspired me to explain that my experience has shown me that Transition Planning, NOT Succession Planning is a much better way to say it, see it, understand it, and really feel it.

WHY?

Because words matter and have an immediate and lasting emotional impact, especially when talking about people's lives, identities, intrinsic value, future, and legacy. 

And, it's a HUMAN THING, not just an organizational thing.
