Black History Always Special

Black History Always, presented by Good Karma Brands is a celebration of black history, culture and influence, across the state of Wisconsin. In this show, hosted by Director of Content for 101.7 The Truth, Kyle Wallace, you’ll hear an in-depth interviews with Brewers Associate manager Rickie Weeks and Telly Hughes, as well as Marquette head mens basketball coach Shaka smart. Tory Lowe sits down one on one with the first elected black mayor of Milwaukee and narrates an audio essay titled ‘playing quarterback while black’ featuring Jeremy White, son of Packers legend Reggie White. The show is capped off with a celebration elevating the black voices who grace the radio airwaves daily across Good Karma Brands Wisconsin based radio stations.
