Qatar tells ICJ that Israel ‘created, perpetrated’ humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza

Qatar’s ambassador to the Netherlands, Mutlaq al-Qahtani, told the ICJ that Israel is waging a "genocidal war" in Palestine, intensifying West Bank settlements and blocking life-saving aid, leaving Gaza in famine-like conditions. He accused Israel of weaponising aid, targeting humanitarian workers, and dismantling UNRWA, the backbone of Gaza’s aid. On 2 March, Israel severed all food, water, and aid access, imposing collective punishment and destroying "an entire generation" of Palestinians.
