With the federal government planning to slash Medicaid and Medicare, lifelines for so many elderly and disabled people, Furlo warns, “These cuts would be devastating… the majority of residents I care for are either on Medicaid or Medicare,” and says residents could be left “with nowhere to live, with nowhere to go.”
