In this week's episode, we have Paula Grippi, the owner of Advanced Electrolysis & Permanent Makeup, talk to us about one of the most important steps of transitioning, electrolysis.

Paula believes that playing up one’s natural beauty can help enhance their life.  With 15 years in the beauty industry, Paula has the skills to help you achieve your beauty goals.  Paula has a passion for hair and that is where her career began, as time went on, she found other skills that excited her and added them to her services. Paula feels helping others feel good on the outside; can help them feel good on the inside.

As a transgender woman, you have two options for permanent removal of facial hair: traditional electrolysis or large volume electrolysis. Traditional electrolysis can be performed up to a couple of hours at a time depending on your pain tolerance. The time to completion (facial hair-free) may be several years or more.
