In this episode, we have a return guest, Tawni Sofia Acosta, certified Hypnotherapist, Owner at Empowered Journeys LLC.   Tawni demonstrated and used the hypnotherapy technique to help the host, Shelbe Chang grieved the loss of her mom.

Tawni is a Certified Hypnotherapist, author, volunteer, and advocate within the LGBTQ+ community.  Prior to her current career, she worked as an Engineer and Project Manager in Information Technology for more than 20 years specializing in technology for TV entertainment. 

Her current passion as a therapist is to help those in the LGBTQ+ community (which she part of) overcome some of the many high barriers that exist to career and personal success for those in the community and so needed.  Her advocacy and career are focused on empowering individuals to continue their paths of authenticity while finding wholistic ways to overcome and these challenges.

Currently, she is looking forward to both her career for individual clients and in speaking advocacy in these areas and representing issues of fundamental rights.
