Join Nia (she/her) and Katie (she/her), high school sweethearts, together they have built a family that includes five children, a safe home, and a lot of laughter! 

Nia has been a Human Resources professional for the last 15 years, focused on creating a culture of love, inclusivity, and "Employees First", understanding that individuals and teams must feel safe and secure before they can grow into a cohesive, powerful organization that makes a difference.

Nia spent the first 35 years of her life in hiding. Scared to be who she really is. Scared of what it might cost her.  While the cost has been high, the reward of being able to be free is worth it.

Katie believes in the beauty and richness of trans lives. She's blessed to be married to an amazing transgender woman who has shown her deep love which leads her to love others.
