This week on The Tony Pruitt Show, we have the one and only Vince Papale. Vince is a former American football wide receiver. He played three seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. In 1978, his teammates voted him in as Special Teams Captain. Vince was also voted Most Outstanding Special Team player during the celebration of the 75th year of the Eagles.
Mr. Papale talks about his childhood, career, and Invincible, a 2006 American sports drama film starring Mark Wahlberg. Invincible is based on the true story of Vince Papale, who played for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1976 to 1978 under Hall of Fame coach Dick Vermeil.
