Episode 11 of "The Tommy Brideson Show"


Bracing on a surface level may seem easy in theory, you breath on average 20,000 times a day so how can it be that hard?


The reality is that in order to create an effective brace you need to be able to and understand how to breath with your diaphragm, how to create stiffness through your midsection, how to position your ribs and pelvis in a way that allows for optimal positioning during movement.


Then to add some complexity, you need to do this whilst performing strength based movements and try to maintain this throughout a set. I always say to my team, learn to breath first, focus on global positioning and get your processes in place for lifting, then lets look to add the specifics of linking it all together.
