This episode takes a deep dive into what I call linchpins for the bench press. Linchpins are a set of rules that will allow you to develop a consistent set up and technique.
The three linchpins are:
#1 - Creating the optimal upper body positioning that is strong and stable
#2 - Building full body tension by creating leg drive
#3 - Making all your reps consistent through your grip width and touch point
Once you know how to organise and stack your body during the bench press it really simplifies your ability to handle more weight, reps and progress the movement.
