Today’s episode is a fantastic chat I had with my friend Eric Senich, who has been on the show previously, back in October of last year. As well as being an outstanding podcaster and rock historian, Eric also spent a large part of his early career as a DJ, so I thought it would be interesting to talk to him about the nature of the industry and how and why freeform DJ’s like Jim Ladd were such an important part of the culture and development of rock n roll music. We wander off into some really interesting areas in this chat and I’m really looking forward to sharing this one with you so sit back, relax, and enjoy my conversation with Eric Senich!
Check out Eric's website here, where you can find links to all the episodes of his brilliant podcast, Booked on Rock : https://www.bookedonrock.com
NOTE: There is some profanity during my conversation with Eric.

A last very special thanks to Paul Zollo. Without his book, "Conversations with Tom Petty", this podcast wouldn't be nearly as much fun to research. And further thanks to Warren Zanes for his outstanding book "Petty, the Biography".
