The Real Work of Ministry (Series 1, 2 & 3)

In this combined series taught during vigil, Pastor Tolu Ayeni shared on why church should be more than surface-level preaching — it should be a place of deep teaching that builds conviction, grounded in Scripture from both the Old and New Testaments. He talked about the true work of ministry: being shepherds who not only preach but also disciple, guide, and care for people’s lives.

He also mentioned that real church growth isn’t about numbers or titles, but about teaching, prayer, and actively winning souls. Leadership, we learn, is about being present, living as examples, and staying rooted in sound doctrine — not for our convenience, but for the growth and protection of the flock God has entrusted to us.
