The Austin City Council is considering a tax rate election to shore up a $33 million dollar deficit in next year's city budget, Austin's Homeless Strategy Office is hoping the city council will approve almost $1 million dollars to fund 12 new positions in the department and the Austin City Council will vote tomorrow on approving a new air traffic controller academy.
