Today Jim Piper talks with Andy Herod, the CEO of San Marcos Treatment Center.  San Marcos Treatment Center is a psychiatric residential treatment facility specializing in treatment programs for children and adolescents.  Mental health issues are difficult for anyone of any age but especially for children and adolescents.  Andy tells Jim about the need to teach some patients the most basic of life skills to help build them up on their road to recovery.  Working in the mental health field is a tough and challenging profession.  A profession that takes a special kind of person.  Andy's story, starting with a childhood lived mostly in Guatemala with his missionary parents, is both unique and interesting.
