To celebrate the BHF’s 60th birthday, Charmaine Griffiths CEO, speaks to celebrity supporters about their experience of heart disease and hears how their lives have been transformed thanks to BHF research. In this episode, she speaks with Hibernian footballer Scott Allan. Scott was diagnosed with diabetes aged 3 and more recently with HCM. He talks about the shocking moment when he received his diagnosis, about nearly losing the career he loves and why being a role model for his son is so important.
