I am deeply passionate about redefining health by anchoring us back in the foundations of true wellness ; faith, mindset & trauma, nutrition, movement, sleep, hydration, connecting with nature and community. I believe God has created and woven our bodies with His purpose, and when we can get back to genuine design, we live optimally. When we begin to rebuild our bodies and reconnect the mind, body, and spirit, we are able to step into greater and deeper healing by God's grace.

This week we talk about wintering well -- a topic I have grown passionate about, as a recovering winter hater I am learning to embrace this season instead of rejecting and resisting it. In this perspective shift I have learned to love and appreciate winter for all that it is rather than wishing it away. 

  • 1-7 min : how I really feel about winter & the birth of a mindset shift 
  • 7:30-13 min : “hygge” — coziness, Taking pleasure in the presence of gentle, soothing things
  • 13:30- 30 min :  entering into rest along with nature, breaking up with chronic summer mindsets, learning from seasons changing 
  • 31- 39 min : eating for resiliency in the winter, herbs & spices, teas, wellness hacks for cultivating strong health in the cold
  • 40-42 min : changing how you think & speak 
  • 42-49  min : make winter fun, winter bucket list, romanticizing winter
