Heidi von Marbod has been in education for over 22 years! She has a wide experience in the profession having spent time in elementary school and coaching high school cheer and dance team. In fact, she started Oregon's first Special Need competitive Cheerleading squad.
That cheer squad inspired her to go back into special education. Hence, she is currently and has been teaching high school special education and community transition for the last thirteen years in Washington. We discuss how we can ensure secure supports are in place during high school and after.
