Teaching students to write procedural texts is easy, right?! I know it seems like just writing down a bunch of steps, but there's so much more to it!
This type of writing first requires students to:
- understand the procedure for what they are going to write about [a recipe, an experiment, directions...]
- break that procedure down into steps
- get the steps in the right order
- use the right transition words
- and a lot more!
In today's episode, I break teaching "how to" writing down and show you how to help your students enjoy the process.
