The Scandal of Pentecost

As amazing as heavenly tongues of fire falling in Acts 2 is, it’s not the fire falling that makes Pentecost scandalous…it’s where the fire fell; on people. Pentecost ushers in a new normal for God's people; lives marked by fire AND the cross. As Jesus People, we never leave the upper room of Pentecost, and we never leave the foot of the cross.
