Scars of the New Jesus People - Rest

As we continue looking at the characteristic marks of the followers of Jesus, tonight we look at divine rest. Is the rest that Jesus invites us into anything different from the absence of activity or the feeling of tranquility and peace? What makes His rest any different from what the world has to offer us by way of rest? As we see in Scripture, the rest that is offered to followers of Jesus is all together different and superior to the inferior rest of this age.
