Baptism, a Consecration into the Priesthood

As we head down into the Pacific Ocean for baptisms, we look briefly at how baptism isn't just symbolism...it is actually part of our consecration into the priesthood. This is the beginning of mining the depths of another of the sacraments the Lord has given us; and, just as we have discovered with communion, when we refuse the narrative of sacramental symbolism, we discover the beauty and power of these gifts the Lord has given us.
