2024 Episode 5 - Somerset see off Essex, Lewis Gregory and Aaron Beard interviews, Friday Review, Blast Off Preview

Jarleth Eaton and Cam McFarlane are on the road, quite literally, in this edition of the T20 Blast Podcast. The boys come to you from the Cooper Associates County Ground Taunton, their new favourite ground in the country, where they watched Somerset beat Essex in an excellent game, including an amazing clip from the pair during the contest caught on mic. Jar catches up with Somerset captain Lewis Gregory and Essex bowler Aaron Beard after the match, before the two transition to the car drive home to look back on an eight game Friday matchday. They look at all the big stories, including Sussex getting over the line against Gloucestershire in a last ball thriller, Notts' collapse and ultimately defeat against Northants and Worcestershire winning their first home T20 Blast game back at New Road against the Lancashire Lightning. The two end the show with a preview Saturday's Blast Off event at Edgbaston, making their picks for Derbyshire v Leicestershire, and Birmingham v Notts.
