Lindsay Leiviska, MAT is a mom of three and an educator who has been working with children for 20+ years. Lindsay has her Masters degree in Teaching and has been homeschooling for almost 10 years. Lindsay and I chat about remote learning and what her perspective is on how parents should be approaching learning from home.
We also discuss her new book, Behind the Behaviors: 4 Steps to Capture & Influence Your Child's Heart, Beliefs, & Behavior where she details her and her family's journey to find answers to help her adoptive son navigate special needs. Her book provides relatable insight and tools parents can use to help equip them to help children who think and process the world differently. Lindsay has created a program called A Heart for All Students in efforts to help Moms and parents so they can effectively parent and connect with their children who might be exhibiting challenging behavior.
