Today’s SWAPA number is 4346. That’s the number of fatigue calls that have been made since Southwest started keeping track in 2011. If your run the math, more than 1 in 3 of all SWA pilots have personal experience with making a fatigue call. On the show today, we’re going to talk to SWAPA Safety Committee member Scott H and SRC Committee Member Fred Deakins about those fatigue calls, the joint Fatigue Safety Advisory Group, and the value our fatigue policy provides to our pilots and the Company.
