In this episode I share another of my favorite mindfulness tools to help kids widen their green zones and try new things. The green zone is the space where kids are flexible, open and able to adapt. When kids are in their green zone they are willing to try new things. When kids are stressed or in new situations their green zones can shrink. As parents and caregivers, we can help kids develop awareness and tools to navigate moments that are beyond their green zones and feel chaotic or rigid. With simple examples and a clear explanation of what a green zone is, this episode invites you to read your child's stress signals and respond in a supportive way.
