EP78: The Town – Ghost of Charleston

This week we discussed the somewhat modern gangster drama, The Town, starring Ben Affleck, Jeremey Renner, Rebecca Hall, John Hamm, and Blake Lively. We discuss how this movie is reminiscent of some of the great gangster and heist films of the past, what is the best, most recent gangster film, how this movie reminds us of Power and Breaking Bad, this film as a metaphor for the life of Ben Affleck, if Doug and Claire ever see each other, and what this movie would look like with an all-Black, all female cast.
