206 - Karen Thomas' Exceptional Near Death Experience (replay)

In this replay episode, we delve back into the remarkable near-death experience (NDE) of Karen Thomas, which took place on July 7, 1982, in Anchorage, Alaska. At the time, Karen was working as a physical therapist and had to undergo her second back surgery following an injury. Fearing a potential spinal fusion that could end her career, she sought prayers from her loved ones on the day of her operation.

During the procedure, a medical emergency occurred when Karen's left common iliac artery was accidentally severed, causing her to bleed out on the operating table. This led to an out-of-body experience where she observed the frantic efforts of the medical staff to save her life. Her journey didn't stop there; she traversed through space and time, encountered a spiritual guide, visited departed family members, underwent a life review, and even witnessed the energy generated from the prayers of her friends and family.

Karen's NDE story is not only awe-inspiring but also transformative. Today, she is committed to sharing her profound experience and the divine love and light she encountered during her NDE. Karen has witnessed the healing power of her story in her own life and in the lives of those she has shared it with.

Karen's story has reached a wide audience. She has spoken for the IANDS Durham group and has submitted her written account to IANDS.org, where it is available under the title "Prayers Like Musical Notes". She was also featured in the documentary "Back From the Light" co-produced by Yvonne Sneeden and Robert Neal Marshall. Her story was highlighted in the IANDS January 2017 newsletter, and she was interviewed on NDE Radio on February 27, 2017.
