AMXtalks 258 - Chick & Betty Brenneman, The Spaniard’s Grandparents

This episode was a long time coming in a number of ways. For a good while, The Spaniard has been meaning to record with his grandparents—his Nam and Pap, Charles ”Chick” and Betty Brenneman. It finally happened, and this episode published the day before their 72nd wedding anniversary. Both farm kids, Nam and Pap discuss chores, attending country school, 25 cent movies, building their family cabin and its outhouse, cooking, hunting and more. You’ll hear about some close calls along the way, but hard work has kept them kicking.
