The Space Policy Show is pleased to hear from Tom Heinsheimer, Henry Helvajian and Kara Cunzeman as they discuss the underlying technology and the space architecture that will stand up a novel space observation mission designed to answer, “are we alone in the universe?”. Together with JPL, Aerospace is currently refining the mission concept for a technology demonstration mission and eventual full-scale mission to seek answers to this age-old question. What kind of challenges will this mission face? How do we collect data from the far recesses of our solar system? How are we going to apply Einstein’s General Relativity to advantage? Tune in to learn more!

The Space Policy Show is produced by The Aerospace Corporation’s Center for Space Policy and Strategy. It is a virtual series covering a broad set of topics that span across the space enterprise. CSPS brings together experts from within Aerospace, the government, academia, business, nonprofits, and the national labs. The show and their podcasts are an opportunity to learn about and to stay engaged with the larger space policy community.
