A stellar professional baseball player and athlete, Tony Kemp is also one of the most upstanding people you’ll ever have the chance to meet!  His work ethic is second-to-none and he and his wife Michelle are two humble, genuine, and inspirational philanthropists, donating so much of their life and time to others.  Tony is the absolute best kind of role model for athletes, from those just learning how to swing a bat to those who have retired from their sport.  His perspective and his approach to his family and his sport is a remarkable testament to his character.

Tony’s career in the MLB has been broad and so full in his short years there, making an indelible mark on his sport and all the lives he’s touched along the way.  His early start in baseball with his older brothers’ support and push gave him the pieces he needed to gain a scholarship’d spot with the Vanderbilt Commodores Vandy Boys .  At 5’6”, Tony should have been overlooked for consideration on all baseball fronts but his perseverance and motivation defied those odds.  Tony was selected as the SEC Freshman of the Year and First Team All-SEC during his time at Vandy.  He’s also a four-time Roberto Clemente award nominee showing just how he lives as an inspiration to others with his positivity, his work ethic, and his love and dedication.

From playing a pivotal part in Vanderbilt Baseballs’s first appearance in the College World Series to his play time with the Chicago Cubs, a World Series with the Houston Astros, and his most recent time with the Oakland Athletics, Tony's past is so full and his future is absolutely unlimited.  I can’t wait to watch his next season unfold!
