What do you do once your dream of playing football ends because of an injury?  You go back to your first love, the guitar. Today's guest played under the guidance of Coach Lou Holtz at North Carolina State. After a neck injury, he picked up the guitar again, traveled the country, and raised a family.  Now that he's older he's taken the time to record the songs that have been a part of his life for over 60 years.  With the help of a mutual friend, Lino, (podcast episode # 31),  his work is being featured on today's show.  He's  Dirk Van Houweling , and he's Someone  You Should Know.
