When you have music in your DNA, you know you're bound to end up on stage. The grandfather of today's guest was performing music in the 40s and 50s and his mother provided musical nurturing when he was young. While there may be a genetic component to musical ability, it is not necessarily the sole determinant of whether someone will perform on stage. It takes a combination of talent, hard work, dedication, opportunity, and luck to become a successful musician.
