This is a bonus minisode of the Sod’s Law podcast, recorded in Kraków, Poland, where I traveled to record Ukrainian refugee and aid-worker stories exactly one month after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

This is Valentina, a Ukrainian teacher and now refugee living in Kraków.

After the start of the war, Valentina helped to convert the Galicia Jewish Museum in Kraków into a kindergarten for refugee children, supported by JRoots.
