The Seeds of Learning Episode 1

We're kicking off June with a new book, The Seeds of Learning by Tera Sumpter, M.A., CCC-SLP. This book was written by an SLP for SLPs, and we're thrilled to dive into it! Every speech therapist working with kids should read this book, because it presents an integrative way of looking at speech, language, and learning delays that you probably haven't heard before. It will change the way you assess your speech therapy students, trust us. Make sure to grab a copy and follow along! In today's episode, we go over the introduction, chapter one, and chapter two. We'll discuss how Tera got started with this work and her integrative model for assessing cognitive processes and getting to the root cause of speech, language, and learning differences.
