Today we're talking about chapter six of Take Time for You: Self Care Action Plans for Educators by Tina H. Boogren. This chapter is about self-actualization. We discuss peak experiences, flow state, being present, accepting disappointment, and more. After you've built a strong base of Maslow's Hierarchy, you can move up to this level and experience self-actualization. We specifically go into times we feel self-actualized or enter flow state as speech therapists, including while reading, working with students, and making materials.
