Today we're discussing chapter six of Social Emotional Learning and the Brain by Marilee Sprenger. This chapter is about developing relationship skills, and we go over a bunch of great strategies you can use in speech therapy or the classroom. We discuss using teaming, project-based learning, cooperative learning, the jigsaw strategy, journaling, role-playing, brainstorming, seating challenges, restorative practices, and peacemaking circles. This is a great episode for speech therapists or teachers who want to encourage collaboration and strong relationships among their students.
