This month we're reading Social Emotional Learning and the Brain by Marilee Sprenger. Whether you're a teacher, speech therapist, or other professional working with children, you're going to learn so much from this book. We're looking forward to learning strategies for improving our relationships with our students, teaching and modeling empathy, improving self-awareness, and more. In this episode, we dive into the introduction and chapter one of the book. We'll be discussing a little brain science (but not too much) and how to build and maintain student-teacher relationships.
