Smart but Scattered Episode 4

Today we're discussing chapters 9-10 from the book Smart but Scattered by Peg Dawson and Richard Guare. This episode lays out the basic rules of thumb that you will need to use in executive skills intervention. We also go through the ready-made interventions the authors have designed for the most common routines children struggle with when they have executive skills deficits. We'll discuss morning and bedtime routines, homework planning, long-term projects, writing assignments, controlling emotions, impulses, and anxiety, organizing desks and so much more!
