Eiswein (ice wine) is produced from grapes harvested and pressed while frozen (not warmer than 20° F) to concentrate sugar, acidity and extract. It is truly a unique and complex dessert wine with an intense concentration of fruits and hints of honey, caramel and raisins. Eiswein is the crowning jewel of German viticulture.
